What Happens at the Mixer

The Midwest Music Mixer is a fully immersive weekend intensive where collectives and creators arrive with ideas and leave with finished, distributed music. Under one roof, in one weekend:

• Lyrics are written and refined by songwriters and composers

• Vocals are trained and tracked with professional vocal coaches

• Music is recorded, engineered, mixed, and mastered on-site

• Finished works are distributed and submitted for Grammy nominations

• Industry professionals deliver lectures and presentations throughout the weekend

Scope spans music production, songwriting, composition, engineering, vocal training, recording, distribution, mixing and mastering — all completed in a single weekend. Capacity is kept intimate — under 100 attendees — so every creator gets real access and real time.
