Patchez Black Entertainment presents one of the most intentional creative events to ever hit the Midwest. The Midwest Music Mixer is where the full arc of music creation collapses into a single, extraordinary weekend — from the first lyric to the last note, and all the way through Grammy submission.

What One Has Built

The Midwest Music Mixer is not a conference. It is not a showcase. It is a fully immersive music creation experience — an intimate industry mixer and intensive workshop where artists, engineers, lyricists, and industry professionals come together to build something real.

In one weekend, collectives and creators brainstorm and write lyrics. Engineers record, mix, and master the music. Distribution is handled. Completed works are submitted for Grammy nominations. Lectures and presentations by industry professionals round out a weekend unlike anything the Midwest has seen.

Capacity is intentional — under 100 attendees. One created this event to be transformative, not transactional.

Songwriting and lyric brainstorming. Vocal training. Music composition. Recording, engineering, mixing, and mastering — all on-site. Distribution handled. Grammy nomination submission included for eligible works.

Programming features lectures and presentations by industry professionals and experts across music, law, business, and cultural media. This is not a passive experience — every attendee leaves with something they built.
